John Wick 4: The Martial Arts Expert Donnie Yen To Co-Star With Keanu

After John Wick 3, fans have been waiting for its next part, John Wick 4, since 2019. However, after recent news regarding the fourth part, the fans have become even more impatient and highly excited.

According to a report, it has been revealed that the legendary martial arts champion Donnie Yen will work alongside renowned Keanu Reeves in the fourth chapter of the movie. This move will indeed boost the thrill and action to a whole new level.

The martial arts legend will be playing the role of an old friend of Keanu and his fellow assassin. It has been said that Donnie Yen will have an identical past and the same enemies as Keanu.

“We are very lucky to have Donnie Yen join the franchise,” Stahelski said. “I am looking forward to working with him in this exciting new role.”

There is no denying that Donnie Yen is one of the most successful superstars hailing from Asia. He is renowned for his excellent screen combat in various martial arts movies of Hong Kong. These films recall a few of the best performances of Jet Li and Bruce Lee.

Donnie is well recognized for his role in the IP Man series as the Wing Chun grandmaster. He is also known for his supporting role as Chirrut Îmwe in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Not just that, but he has also been displayed as Commander Tung in the Disney film Milan and Xiang in xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

Donnie Yen is a top-rated martial arts expert. Along with that, he also possesses various fighting techniques that may include Kickboxing, Tai Chi, Wing Chun, Wushu, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, Muay Thai, Karate, Taekwondo, Hapkido, and obviously boxing. Indeed he can teach a few of these fantastic skills to Keanu as well.

The fourth part of this excellent movie series will be shot in France, Japan, and Germany. It has been said that the shooting will begin this summer and will most probably get released on May 27, 2022. It was delayed due to the pandemic Covid-19.
