This video is just one example of how heavy gusts of wind can affect an aircraft. Credit to the pilot on this one, but landing that plane with so much turbulence must have been a real scare to those who were flying. Watch as the plane sways- changes direction and almost runs off the runway in this gripping video. This video has even been featured on Air Crash Investigations, along with several others.
How the pilot managed to direct this plane back on course, we’ll never know, but I certainly think that he deserves a promotion for his amazing control and direction.
