This young girl suffers from Leukemia. When she went to this hockey game, she saw a young boy who had a signed stick and she just had to take a look at it. When she walked off, the boy followed her and gave it to her because he felt bad for her and everything that she has been through.
The girl couldn’t be happier about it and she loved the team as well. The NHL saw this kind gesture and they decided to give the young boy a replacement stick for his kindness and generosity. It is amazing to think how he would suddenly perform this act of kindness to someone who he has never met before and afterwards the two met up and they seem to be getting on very well together.
