For the last 75 years, mothers in Finland have been given a box that gives them everything they need to raise a child. They get diapers, toys, bottles and so much more and the box can even be used as a crib as well. Since the boxes have been introduced, the infant mortality rate has plummeted and many people believe that this is the reason why. The mother’s need to go to a doctor in order to get the box and this must be done in the fourth month of pregnancy so it helps them to keep up with checkups as well.
This really is a great video and it just goes to show that a little kind act can go a long way. Many parents can’t wait to receive their box and some go as far to say that it has strengthened the bond between them and their baby.
