Marina and Ulay started an intense affair in the 70’s and they performed out of a van that at the time, they called home. When the relationship ended however, they didn’t think that they would see each other again, so they each stood at either end of the Great Wall of China and they met in the middle. After one last embrace, they parted and they thought that was it.
That was until Marina sat at a table and she spent a minute of silence with everyone who sat next to her. When Ulay came across however, that was when her world came crashing down. She couldn’t help but cry and break down and he did as well. This is a beautiful moment and it just goes to show that an expression can say more than a thousand words.
