Abu Azrael is his name and that translates to the “Angel of Death”. He’s the leader of the Shi’ite militia as well as another group which is called the Imam Ali Brigade. They have been fighting the Islamic State in Iraq.
He’s become quite a figure in terms of social media and there are several Facebook groups that are dedicated to him.
