This advert is a true example of what is happening every single day in the world. Domestic violence is a huge problem, and it can destroy families and relationships. So what makes this advertisement so different? It doesn’t show the effects of domestic violence and it doesn’t tell you how to find help. It is an awareness video that is trying to spread the word about how those in a domestic violence situation feel, and it is a real eye opener to those who watch.
The woman on the phone is trying to order a pizza from a 911 number, but thankfully the police officer understands her situation and sends help. This shows that those who are in a domestic violence situation might not even be able to pick up the phone and tell someone, so awareness really is the key to helping those in such situations.
