These chimps were caged for over 30 years. They had no access to the outdoors and they probably hadn’t seen sunlight for quite a long time. When they were released however, I just couldn’t believe it. They went out and they couldn’t understand what they were seeing, but when they caught on, they couldn’t wait to get out there and explore it for themselves.
Watch the moment they get released into their very own sanctuary, where they have logs, tyres, grass and rope swings to play on for as long as they want. What a heart warming story, you can see the enjoyment on their faces and it really does go to show how much emotion these animals feel when faced with freedom such as this. What an incredible story.
