This kid wanted to pay his respects to those who died on D-Day. The police wouldn’t let him enter the cemetery and he wanted to show how much he appreciated all that they had done for him and his country. He decided to take his homemade flag pole and his flag to the Omaha beach, where he stood and saluted for over an hour.
This was the very beach where soldiers had fought years before, and as he gazed over the ocean, he saw the spirits of the infantry soldiers heading for the shore. He held his salute, and he couldn’t quite believe his eyes. This is an incredible video from an incredibly brave young boy, who stopped at nothing to pay thanks to those who have died for us. What an incredible video. I can’t believe it.
