Billy was a stray dog who wanted to die. He wandered the streets and he was completely hopeless. He had no home and he had nobody to look after him. A woman then took him in and she chose to look after him until he got better. She knew what she had to do in order to get Billy better, and she spent hours and days nursing him back to care. She also did everything she could to try and train him so he could go on to find a forever home, but when that time came, she found it incredibly difficult to let him go.
Billy eventually found someone who was willing to take care of him, and letting him go was one of the hardest things that this kind woman has ever had to do, but she knew that Billy had to have a forever home and she also knew that her looking after him was only a temporary measure until he was able to get back on his feet again. The two of them reunited some time later after Billy stayed with his new family and now he is happier than ever!
