This video is a clip from an up and coming documentary called From War to Wisdom. Kenny Bass, an SMC Veteran was wounded in combat by an ambush and ever since he has suffered from PTSD. He has battled every since, until he was prescribed a service dog. He had to raise the funds all by himself, but the rewards were far beyond any money that he could ever come up with.
Atlas, the dog sleeps in front of the door, he wakes up Kenny from his nightmares and he even stands with him in the supermarket when he gets flustered. He has given him a whole new way of life, and now Kenny along with several other people have decided to raise a charity that is specifically designed to help people in his situation, at no cost. What a phenomenal story.
