Marilyn, a female giraffe and Kenya, the male giraffe are now the proud parents of Angela Kate. The baby giraffe marks the second birth at the Memphis Zoo over the past two years. This video however, is nothing short of a miracle. The baby took some time to get up, and it was shaky on its feet to say the least. The baby tries to get up again and again, but the mother perseveres and keeps helping her.
Shortly after, the baby gets up and is happily walking around with his mother. This story is truly incredible and it must have been a life changing moment for everyone who was there to witness it, but luckily someone caught it on video and now we can all share in this miracle birth.
