A group of people were fishing on the coast of Bonita Springs, Florida but they weren’t expecting this to happen. They managed to catch a 4 foot shark and they were about to pull it overboard, but a golden leviathan surfaced and took the shark right off them. The scene may look a bit splashy but the shark looked to be swallowed in a single bite. The goliath grouper was described as being 4 foot long, but you need to watch the video to see it for yourself.
According to the group, the monster had tried to steal at least one other catch that morning but he wasn’t successful. The person who posted the video has stated that as they brought the shark up to the boat, the goliath came up and tried to take him. Around half an hour later, they caught another 5 foot shark and as they saw the goliath come up to inspect again. Atlantic goliath groupers can grow up to 8 feet in length and they can weigh hundreds of pounds so it really is an incredible video.
