An Australian man had the fright of his life when a large lizard crawled into his yard. He managed to take a picture of the lizard and he states that when he came out of the shed, he saw movement in the bushes. When he did finally get a better look, he was in shock but he managed to get his camera out just in time. These lizards are normally very wary of humans but they are incredibly dangerous, especially when you consider their bite and claws.
The lizard was over 1.5m long and these lizards are normally found living in the bush. They are generally very wary of humans and this one is thought to be a lace monitor goanna. A spokesman stated that these lizards weigh up to 20kg and they have the potential to grow over 2m in size.
